Carrier Roller is also called upper roller or top roller, it is above the track frame, which is designed to carry and lead the chain/track moving in a straight line. It is also part of the tension system, However, not all machines are fitted with top rollers, generally only diggers over 3 tonnes in operating weight. For some smaller machines can manage without carrier rollers.
Maintainence:
When the carrier rollers are wearing out, Track link will not work properly, you need to replace all of them on the same side of the machine at the same time.
